Back to school for 2023-2024 came way too early this year. It’s hard to get excited and geared up for the first day back when you know it’s going to be 115 degrees outside for recess. It’s a far shot from when we were in school and Labor Day was celebrated near the beginning of the school year.
That said: first days mean early mornings and good light for photos. And both kids were in good spirits… so we’re calling that a win for the day. Bright smiles and eager minds to fill.
